The calm before the storm… the most superhero, life changing, magical thing you can feel. Freezing this moment in time, whatever it took to get here, whether easy or difficult, filled with morning sickness or feeling fresh as a daisy. It’s an experience that doesn’t happen often and what a treasure to have as memories to look back at.
NEWBORN
At home newborn photography where you don’t have to worry about travel time, poonamis or feeling comfortable. Alternatively we can go on a wee adventure outdoors, we will take it slow and work around your baby’s needs. Most importantly we will capture the tiny details and the enourmous love.
BIG BABY
Your big little one, they can smile, sit, maybe even walk already. Perhaps it’s their very first birthday? Let’s capture how much they’ve changed, how much you’ve changed too. A family session from 3 to 18 months.

The keepsake sessions are designed to be relaxed, fun and capture memories that feel like you. Focusing on real interactions and directing for your authentic moments to shine through, the photography you will receive will look and feel natural, candid and honest.
I am here to capture the love, the fun, the special and the mundane, I will give you direction, but never stiff posing. For families with little ones that can move about, the session will be focused on play and documenting the real you.
I offer my keepsake photography sessions for families, couples, maternity and newborn shoots across Perth and Kinross, Fife and Edinburgh, but will happily travel further and abroad.

Motherhood is the most life changing, incredible experience of your life, and worth documenting the beautiful journey from growing life inside you to nurturing it at home or outdoors.
It’s true what they say about mums taking all the photos and never being in them. When you’re shoulders deep in nappies and never ending newborn laundry, you might not have photos as a priority. Booking these special moments in advance will reduce the admin, but still ensure you have those precious keepsakes that your baby will thank you for when they’re all grown. The tiny toes, the little finger grip, the cuddles. At this point you will know me already after having captured your pregnancy, we’ll have a relaxed session capturing the little details you never want to forget.
And then I’ll be back again when your little one is bigger. This might be a family session outdoors of the cruising or perhaps even taking some of their first steps. It might be their very first birthday party with family and loved ones celebrating that very first trip around the sun.

I offer maternity, newborn and family sessions of both young kids and grown up kids + anything in between.

Yes of course, this is ideal for newborn sessions, but works for any kind of family shoot. I will prep you ahead of time but all we need is a good window and maybe a bed for snuggles or a fun activity planned.

Yes, anyone and everyone, no matter the family set-up is welcome in front of my camera.

I am based in Kinross so I photograph across Perthshire, Kinrosshire, Fife and Central Scotland. Within 50 miles of Kinross there is no additional fee but I will go much further afield, I love the idea of a Highlands adventure to Glen Coe or Glen Etive, Cairngorms or wherever the heart desires, even if it’s Isle of Skye.

From the get-go there is no performative expectation from children. Sessions with kids are led by them. Some will be really into having their photo taken and some will just want to run around and play.
Even during the odd tantrum, we can capture beautiful moments, but my sessions are about allowing kids to be kids and be wild, have fun. The best photos come from their natural curiosity and movement.
And I want to reassure you, there will be no judgment from me. I have 2 little ones myself and I know that sometimes they act like they haven’t had a day of parenting and were raised in the wild and sometimes they just have an off day. We’ll work with them, allow them to feel what they need to feel and get them playing and exploring in no time.

I have a little guide here, but we can discuss once you book. In short, I suggest going for cohesive block colours or neutrals instead of logos, slogans and patterns.

Newborn, family, and maternity shoots are quite intimate and so I believe in choosing a location that resonates with you but also feels special. It doensn’t matter if you haven’t been there before but as long as it is a place that makes sense for you. I do think it is special to go to an extra lovely place as you don’t typically get professional photos every day (a day trip to Glen Coe anyone?) but equally home or the park next door can be super special too. Upon booking I can help select or suggest a location.
